Is ScanPix a scanner app?

Capture is where it starts, not what it is. ScanPix is a workspace for your documents, catalogues and orders: you capture with any phone, then search, share, sell and collect from the same place on iOS, Android and the web.

Do my buyers need an app?

No. Buyers open your catalogue link in any browser and order with a name and phone number. They install nothing and create no account.

Is this the WhatsApp API?

No. Every order lands in your Orders inbox, and the buyer can also send it as a normal WhatsApp message to your own number. There is no API, no bot and no middleman, and ScanPix is not a party to your sale.

Can I keep files in my own storage?

Yes. Connect your own Google Drive, Dropbox, AWS S3 bucket or S3-compatible service, and pages you add on the web are written into your account. Or keep the default and let ScanPix store them. Your own server or NAS is available on request. Searching by the words inside a page is not yet available for pages kept in your own storage.

Does ScanPix do GST billing?

No. ScanPix makes estimates, not GST invoices, and its customer balances are a simple record, not accounting software. Keep invoicing in your billing software; keep the documents, catalogues and orders in ScanPix.

What does it cost?

There is a free plan with no card needed. Paid plans start at ₹900 per user per month in India, or $15 elsewhere, and yearly billing saves 20%.
