Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide when registering, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation.

2. The Service

ScanPix lets you capture, edit, and organise documents and products; extract text and fields from your scans; store and sync them across your devices and the web; build product catalogues; create teams and share content with assigned roles; request documents from others; and export or share your documents. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents, images, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you share with — including running text and field extraction and syncing your content across your devices. You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to upload, store, and share it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to store or share unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to resell it without our permission.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Some features require a paid subscription. You can purchase one as an in-app purchase through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store (processed by them, subject to their terms), or directly on our website, where payment is processed by our payment partner Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Store purchases are managed or cancelled through your store account; website subscriptions are managed in your ScanPix account settings, and cancelling stops the next renewal while keeping access until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law or by the applicable store’s policies, payments are non-refundable — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details. Prices and plan features may change; we will provide notice where required.

6. Teams and shared content

If you create or join a team, the team owner and members may have access to documents, catalogues, and other content shared within that team, according to the roles assigned. The team owner is responsible for managing membership and roles. When you share a document or a link, the recipients you choose will be able to view or download the shared content.

7. Catalogues, orders and quotations

The Service includes tools that let a user (a “Seller”) publish product catalogues, receive orders and enquiries from the people they share links with (“Buyers”), and generate quotation documents. ScanPix is a software tool: we are not a party to any transaction between a Seller and a Buyer. We do not sell or supply the Seller’s goods or services, set or verify prices, process payments, or fulfil, deliver or guarantee any order.

Sellers are solely responsible for their catalogue content, products, prices, taxes and statutory compliance, order fulfilment, and any refunds, warranties or disputes owed to their Buyers. A quotation generated by the Service is a document prepared at the Seller’s request using the Seller’s own data; it is not a tax invoice, and ScanPix does not warrant its accuracy or that any sale will conclude. If you access a shared catalogue, order or quotation link as a Buyer, these Terms apply to your use of that link, and any claim concerning the goods, services, prices or delivery must be directed to the Seller — not to ScanPix.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanPix has no liability for, and you release us from, any claim arising out of transactions, communications, quotations or disputes between Sellers and Buyers.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and trademarks, is owned by GTS Infosoft LLP and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

9. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the web dashboard at Settings → Account → Danger Zone. Account deletion is immediate and permanent: your documents, catalogues, share links, and personal details are deleted right away and cannot be recovered. Records of past payments are retained as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you own a team with other active members, you must remove them or transfer ownership first.

Deleting your account cancels any ScanPix subscription billed through our payment partner immediately, without a refund for the remaining period. Subscriptions billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store are not cancelled by account deletion — you must cancel those in your Google or Apple account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Text and field extraction is automated and may not be fully accurate, and you are responsible for reviewing the results. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTS Infosoft LLP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service, however arising, will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the first such claim — and if you use only the free plan, that amount is zero. These limits apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and are an essential basis of the bargain between you and us; your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GTS Infosoft LLP from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
