Free, no catch

No watermark, no sign-up wall, no daily limit. Free because your device does the work.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. This merge tool runs entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device and we never see them. You can verify it in your browser’s network tab: no files are transferred.
Is the PDF merge tool really free?
Yes — completely free, with no watermark, no sign-up and no page limits hidden behind a paywall. Merge up to 30 PDFs at a time, as often as you like.
Can I choose the order the PDFs are combined in?
Yes. After you add your files they appear in a list. Use the up and down arrows to put them in the exact order you want — the merged PDF follows that order, top to bottom.
Is there a limit on file size or number of pages?
There is no fixed page limit — because the work happens on your device, the practical limit is your device’s memory. Very large PDFs (hundreds of pages) work but take a little longer. You can add up to 30 files per merge.
Can it merge password-protected PDFs?
A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be merged until it is unlocked — the tool will flag it as unreadable so you can remove it. PDFs that merely restrict editing can usually still be combined.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in the browser on Android and iPhone — add your PDFs, order them and download the combined file. No app is required, though the free ScanPix app keeps all your documents organised and searchable in one place.

Managing lots of documents?

This tool combines PDFs you already have. The free ScanPix app captures crisp scans straight to PDF, makes their text searchable, and keeps every document organised in a private workspace.
