Frequently asked questions
Does ScanPix work offline?
Yes, on the iOS and Android apps. With no internet connection you can scan and capture documents and product photos, and they are saved on your phone. Documents already saved on your phone still open, and you can search the text in your scans. The next time you open the app with a connection, your new pages sync to your workspace (if sync is turned on). Some things need a connection: share links and catalogues, orders, e-signature and document requests, team features and your own cloud storage. The web app needs an internet connection.
Which devices does ScanPix sync across?
Your workspace stays in sync across iOS, Android and the web on one account. Capture on your phone and pick up the same documents, products and records on your laptop — always up to date.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your documents are safely backed up in the cloud, so signing in on a new device restores your workspace. You don't lose your records along with the phone.
Is my synced data private and secure?
Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, private to you and the people you choose, and never sold. You can export or delete your data whenever you want.
